How to deal with the stench of the garbage transfer station
Author: Li Deng environmental protection

         With the increase of construction investment, in most of the newly built garbage transfer stations, garbage has been compressed and transported to the transfer station. During the compression shipment, compressed leachate and malodorous gas are discharged. However, most of the transfer stations did not handle the garbage compressed liquid and garbage odor. According to relevant national regulations, the number of garbage transfer stations will increase, and the requirements for the management and environmental management of transfer stations are also increasing. This is a major project. It is obvious that the transfer station and the urban residential area are an organism. The treatment of the odor and waste compressed liquid in the transfer station is to ensure the environment is comfortable, and the people's heart project and image project for the benefit of the people are directly related to the physical and mental well-being of the urban residents and the citizens working for the government. Satisfaction.

First, the compressed liquid of the garbage transfer station
       The processing capacity of the garbage transfer station is large or small. The amount of waste transfer in the garbage transfer station in our city is generally between 20 and 100 t/d. After compression, the garbage compressed liquid, which accounts for approximately 5 to 15% of the amount of waste (generally in summer and the rainy season), is filtered and oozes out in the garbage transfer station. In addition to the amount of sewage generated from the washing of the site during daily operations, the amount of garbage generated by the entire transfer station is calculated as 15% of the amount of waste transferred. We chose a Nanya waste transfer station with a transfer volume of about 30 t/d. The amount of waste compressed liquid is about 5 t/d. According to monitoring, hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methyl mercaptan, methyl sulfide, etc. in the garbage compressed liquid are the main components of the odor of the transfer station. Through the treatment to meet the three levels of comprehensive wastewater discharge requirements, namely COD ≤ 500 mg / L, BOD ≤ 300 mg / L and other indicators before discharge.

       1.1 Factors affecting waste compression fluid
       The production of waste compressed liquid is affected by many factors, not only the water volume changes greatly, but also the change is irregular, but in general, the summer compressed liquid is obviously higher than other seasons. Its main sources are:
       (1) The water contained in the garbage itself and the water absorbed from the atmosphere and rainwater;
       (2) water produced by waste degradation;
       (3) Washing water and domestic water used in the process of garbage transfer station.

       1.2 Main features of waste compression fluid
       (1) The quality of landfill leachate is extremely complex, with a wide variety of pollutants and great harm. Leachate contains not only oxygen-consuming organic pollutants, but also many toxic and harmful substances such as heavy metals and phytonutrients, as well as biological pollutants such as pathogens and eggs. Up to now, 93 organic pollutants have been detected, and hydrocarbons and their derivatives, acid esters, alcohol phenols, aldehydes, ketones and amides are among the most abundant. Many of these pollutants are environmentally controlled in China. Contaminants.
       (2) The concentration of pollutants in landfill leachate is large and the range of variation is large. The concentration of CODCr, BOD5, total nitrogen, ammonia nitrogen and heavy metals in the landfill leachate is very high, and the range of variation is large. Generally speaking, SS 900~4000 mg/L, COD 5000~20000 mg/L. This characteristic of landfill leachate is unmatched by other sewage, highlighting the difficulty of treatment and treatment process selection.
   Second, the stench of the garbage transfer station
       As the living standards of the residents increase, the garbage transfer station concentrates the garbage of the residents, compresses and packs them, and then transports them to the landfill or garbage disposal plant for centralized treatment. The process of production, collection and transportation of garbage is accompanied by the process of fermentation and decay. During this fermentation process, a large amount of hydrogen sulfide, ammonia, methyl mercaptan and methyl sulfide are produced, so the air is filled with odor. The odor component in the air in the garbage transfer station. In addition, there are more vehicles entering and exiting during the transfer of garbage, so the buildings of the transfer station cannot be sealed. Due to the frequent entry and exit of garbage trucks, the odor emitted by the trucks will also affect the environment. The odor management of vehicles entering and leaving the vehicle is also a key consideration.

       According to the characteristics of the garbage transfer station, the concentration of the garbage liquid in the transfer station is very high, and the odor diffusion surface is large, and the transfer station is closer to the residential area, and the nearest distance is only 3-5 m. In addition, it is necessary to treat the waste compressed liquid and odor at the transfer station at the same time, the treatment effect should reach the national standard, the operating cost should be low, and the investment should be reasonable, all of which bring great difficulties to the treatment of the urban garbage transfer station. .

         Lideng environmental deodorizing air purification equipment has completely independent research and development, production of environmentally friendly purification products, pipeline type plasma deodorization purification system is the use of physical, chemical, biological and environmental engineering knowledge, created a plasma air purification technology, successfully achieved Einstein's theory of ionization. By simulating the natural air environment, the indoor air quality is significantly improved, in addition to effectively and quickly remove and decompose various harmful pollutants, coupled with catalytic functions, continuously impacting odor molecules at a frequency of one million times per second, and efficiently odor The energy can be decomposed to produce a large number of high-energy ion bodies, which makes the molecular structure unstable, and the ion-degraded complex ions deodorize and sterilize.
